The Fundación Barrié decisively supports scientific investigation, developing mechanisms and structures that contribute to generate a new scientific and technological knowledge in areas as relevant as biomedicine,technological innovation and economy, with the creation of an Investment Fund in Science, the design and implementation of high quality education and training programmes aimed at transfer technology professionals, or actions that bring investigation and science into contact with everyday life, and promote scientific vocations that will be a guarantee for the future. The Fundación firmly believes in the idea of stimulating economic development supporting investigation and its transfer to the market, as well as promoting the development of research careers through post-graduate scholarships abroad.
