	SOCIAL INTERVENTION / EDUCABARRIÉ
		Workshop on “The Children’s Act: Challenges of Intervention” K-torce 18 programme (4-teen 18 programme) in partnership with the Arela Association Vigo Premises, 14th of May. Advance registration atwww.educabarrie.org This workshop is targeted at teachers and social work professionals. It will analyse the evolution of the implementation of the Children’s Act ever since it entered into force in 2000, and it will examine specific issues such as educational intervention with abused children and the dangers and crimes stemming from improper use of the social media. The participating speakers will include Professor Vicente Garrido, who holds a Ph. D. in Psychology and a diploma in Criminology.
		DIsCAPACIDAD Exhibition A Coruña Premises. Until October19th Organised by ASPACE-Galicia (Galician Cerebral Palsy Federation), this exhibition is part of the commemorations for Galician Cerebral Palsy Year 2014, whose purpose is to show society how individuals with cerebral palsy have the desire to fight back and to advocate equal opportunities in access to jobs and free-time activities.

	CULTURE / TEMPORARY EXHIBITIONS
			Stories from History A Coruña Premises. Until September 14nd This exhibition invites one to construct and imagine different stories from history, which is never the same as the stories we have been told, through works by contemporary artists and items from foundation's international painting collection. It is accompanied by an educational programme that allows participants of all age may reflect upon the constant change in history and our ability to transform things.
			Workmates Vigo premises. From the 5th of June to the 21st of September The purpose of Compañeros de Oficio (Workmates), an original production by the Barrié Foundation, is to advocate a reflection that is rarely taken these dayson the role of vernacular architecture as a cornerstone in the oeuvres of a noteworthy group of contemporary architects, including Alvar Aalto, Alvaro Siza, Tadao Ando, BalkrishnaDoshi, Peter Zumthor and Glen Murcutt, not to mention Charles-ÉdouardJeanneret, known as Le Corbusier, the great master who expressed the tie between the “craftsmen” of yesteryear and the “creators” of today with the words that serve as the title of this exhibition.

			Catalá-Roca. Obras Maestras San Sebastián. Sala Kubo-Kutxa Until June 1st An exhibition coproduced by the foundation and by La Fábrica, proposing a re-reading of the career of the Catalan photographer Francesc Catalá-Roca, one of the major names in Spanish photography and the main representative of Catalan avant-garde photography, besides being of an authorship that was indispensible to the time of understanding documentary content in Spain.
