Programme for Children's Care and Family Education
Scholarships to access specialised resources and extracurricular activities, purchase of books and school supplies, as well as school support activities for children of families in situations of emergency or social vulnerability, are some of the intervention actions included in this programme promoted by the Barrié Foundation and Cáritas. This programme will be carried out at autonomous region level until December 2015. Applications to Cáritas in Galicia.

More Social. Training programme Classroom training program, in Vigo and A Coruña, in which 44 previously selected social organisations participate in More Social 2014/2015, which aims to ensure that the management, board members and executives of these Galician organisations that provide social services improve their training and have models and management tools that encourage the success of their organisations in the medium and long term.
The contents cover: strategy and change, communication and marketing, people management, fundraising, project management, presentation of projects, measurement of results and associative networks and social movements.

Series of conferences organised in collaboration with the Galician Centre for Contemporary Art (CGAC), which aims to provide a picture of the complexity of contemporary art from the voice of key figures and agents from different areas, from the theory of art, architecture or artistic experience, to generate a kind of map of theories, experiences, places and reviews.

Architecture, Matter and Vision: The Construction of the Portico of Glory
1st International Symposium Cathedral of Santiago Programme
The Barrié Foundation and the Cathedral Foundation, in their ongoing commitment to the restoration of the historical and cultural heritage of Galicia, alongside the General Foundation of Madrid Complutense University, organised an International Scientific Symposium in Santiago de Compostela, included in the programme of activities defined in the collaboration between the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela Programme, on the study and restoration work of the Portico of Glory of the basilica of Santiago de Compostela. This single-subject symposium, focusing on the research area of construction and structural studies, will provide a unique opportunity to open the project to internationally renowned specialists to create an interdisciplinary forum in the field of study of the Portico of Glory that will help generate a fertile intellectual environment with which to pave the way in various fields of study for the coming decades.

Locations: A Coruña and Vigo, from 7th July to 28th August from Monday to Friday, mornings and afternoons.
Educational project using hand tools, electronic devices (smartphones, tablets...) and social networks to create from everyday life and develop the skills and abilities of children and young people between 6 and 16 years, offering a wide range of proposals in summer camp format on architecture, photography, design, music and art, merging creativity, sustainability and technology and projecting culture from a participatory and fun format.

Training program aimed at improving the employability skills of graduates of the three universities in Galicia. The opening conference marks the launch of a programme that includes, in addition to skills training and vocational guidance, observation stays in leading companies in Galicia.

Training of faculty staff in identification and training of talent in the classrooms.
Intensive, residential training programme taught by a team of experts from USC and a team of trainers from the National Research Center on the Gifted and Talented at the University of Connecticut (USA), led by Professor Joseph Renzulli and Professor Sally Reis.
